Data center experts, local officials answer questions, address concerns

From the Williston Herald:

Following an hour of data center presentations on Monday , attendees at the Williston Research Extension Center’s data center public forum took the next hour to pose any data center-related questions, comments or concerns to the experts and government officials in attendance, including two people connected to the city’s planned Critical Data House.

Vern Thompson, the Democratic nominee for North Dakota agriculture commissioner in the upcoming Nov. 3 election, hosted the event. Including Thompson, five people presented on the potential benefits and risks of adding data centers to a local community, as well as providing a wealth of data and information about how different types of data centers operate. The Williston Herald reports on the contents of these presentations in a separate article.
