Thompson Press Conference on Secretive Pipeline Project
BISMARCK - Vern Thompson, Candidate for North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner, will hold a press conference Monday, May 4, 10:00 am at the North Dakota Kennedy Center addressing the Industrial Commission’s April 28th vote to give WBI Energy $500 million in financial support for their Bakken East natural gas pipeline.
North Dakotans deserve transparency. Stakeholders, landowners, and elected officials are invited to participate and have their voices heard at this press conference.
2026 Governor's Dinner

Utah State Senator Luz Escamilla will be the featured speaker. Senator Escamilla has over 20 years of experience in government and is a strong advocate for democratic values. She has received numerous honors, including being the first Utahn recognized as an “Outstanding American by Choice” by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Let's show her some North Dakota hospitality and welcome her with a good showing!
