On May 21, 2026, Vern Thompson convened a press conference with fellow candidates and concerned citizens to introduce the Responsible Hyperscale Development framework. Developed in collaboration with concerned citizens, this tool will help even the playing field for rural communities being overwhelmed by large out of state interests.
